"The word psychotherapy consists of two Greek words: psyche (soul) and therapy (care)." — Thomas Moore

Ethos

IFS is predominantly about restoring contact between the core self and the parts of ones experience that have become separated, extreme, or burdened over time. This makes sense to me on a very human level and it is something I'm deeply passionate about. I believe this work of IFS is one way that we can care for our souls. When we do this consistently, we benefit individually and collectively. I am committed to practicing these processes in my life, and supporting others to do so through my work.

Experience

As a teacher of mine once put it, in this work we are "healing the imagination with the imagination." This requires skill and a willingness to trust the process. Alongside my clinical training, I hold a Master's degree in Acting and Directing and a Bachelor's degree in Writing. My creative background shapes the way I work — allowing me to connect confidently, courageously and playfully with unconscious material, supporting clients to do the same.

I came to psychotherapy because I needed help myself. I wasn't looking for insight alone, but for something that could genuinely shift how I was living and relating. Through IFS therapy, I encountered an inner landscape that was far richer and far more complex than some of my parts had assumed it to be. Learning to meet this place with curiosity, patience, and care changed my relationship with myself at a fundamental level, and with it, how I experience others and the world.
